Mark Warburton’s Rangers side play host to Dundee at Ibrox tomorrow.

Rangers take on Dundee in the Scottish Premiership this weekend. The game a Ibrox is one the Dundee manager Paul Hartley is certainly looking forward to.

The Dundee boss and former Celtic midfielder has been speaking to The Courier about Mark Warburton’s men and admitted that the game at Ibrox will not be an easy one for his players:

“Rangers have a good group of players there. They are a good team and have a good manager.

“When you go to Ibrox, you know you are in for a difficult game but you have to go there with a game plan that will hopefully get you a positive result.”

When the two teams last met, it was in August with Rangers coming away with a 2-1 win at Dens Park. Goals from Harry Forrester and Kenny Miller in the first-half proved enough for Rangers to take the win on the road – despite a goal from Mark O’Hara.

Hartley says he has not been talking about the last fixture between the two teams, as he feels his team is completely different ahead of the latest fixture between the two:

“I won’t mention that last Rangers game though. It’s a different group of players, different personnel, but what I will be stressing to them is the need to go to Ibrox and start well.

“We need to start at a good tempo and make sure we are always in the game.”

Rangers and Warburton will undoubtedly be hopeful of following up that result with a similar one this weekend.

Dundee on the other hand must provide a stern test in Glasgow or Rangers will surely continue their current three game unbeaten run and keep up the pace in the hunt for second place in the Scottish Premiership.
