Everton’s first-team coach can’t wait to see the pair in France.

Quoted by Deadline News, Duncan Ferguson has said that he cannot wait to see how Everton duo John Stones and Ross Barkley perform for England at Euro 2016.
The talented young Toffees pair were deservedly named in Roy Hodgson’s 23-man squad as the Three Lions bid to end 50 years of hurt by winning their first major competition since their World Cup success of 1966.

Barkley will be vaguely familiar with the kind of atmosphere greeting England at big tournaments, having been in the 2014 World Cup squad, but this will be Stones’s first major competition for his country.
It remains to be seen how big of a role both men will play, with Hodgson boasting a very good squad – at least in terms of individuality.
One man who is hoping to see them is Everton’s first-team coach Ferguson, who raved about the pair.

“John Stones and Ross Barkley are great players and I’m sure they’ve got a massive part to play, I’m really looking forward to watching them,” he said via Deadline News.
“I’ll look out for the Everton players and hope they do well.”
A certain Jose Mourinho might also be keen to see how Stones gets on, amid speculation linking him with a huge-money move to Mourinho’s Manchester United (Independent).
