Tottenham youngster Marcus Edwards could thrive in the Eredivisie.

Tottenham attacker Marcus Edwards has completed his loan move to Dutch outfit S.B.V. Excelsior, but is the Eredivisie the right division for him to develop?
Spurs confirmed on Thursday that the 19-year-old has joined top-flight club Excelsior on a season-long loan, where he will go in search of regular first-team action.
Edwards is a teenager tipped for stardom in recent times by senior manager Mauricio Pochettino, but he looks a long way off achieving that as it stands.
The right-winger is renowned for being a skilled trickster with an eye for goal, but he is yet to kick on from the Under-23s side to senior level.
He had an unsuccessful loan spell in the Championship last season where he made just one first-team appearance for Norwich City and there is a risk he may not reach his potential.
But a switch to Holland is a refreshing new challenge for him and could be the perfect division to see him progress.

Chelsea pair Lewis Baker and Mason Mount are just two youngsters that in recent seasons have made the switch from England to the Eredivisie, with both enjoying great success.
The Dutch league has a number of attack-minded teams involved in and sides are willing to give young players an opportunity.
Edwards will hope to play some expansive football during his loan with Excelsior and it could be a match made in heaven, as he looks to build up some confidence and take a step towards the Spurs first team.
