Can Aston Villa youngster Andre Green enjoy a breakout season this year?

Andre Green is a highly-rated talent to come out of the Aston Villa academy, but is the 2018/19 season the year he begins to fulfil his potential?
The 20-year-old has been around the club’s first team for the last couple of years and now racked up 29 appearances at senior level.
He is a left-winger with great pace and trickery, but still has just one goal for the Midlands giants so far despite his ability.
Green has featured in all three games for Steve Bruce’s side so far this season and now could be the time for him to step up, especially when you consider Robert Snodgrass is not at the club after his loan spell ended.
There is a real opportunity for the academy graduate to cement his spot in the starting XI and it will ultimately boil down to him improving his end product.

Green may have to start becoming a little braver on the ball and more clinical in front of goal if he wants to become a Bruce regular, while his crossing from wide areas is also crucial.
However, the dazzling attacker is someone the supporters are willing to do well and a purple patch of form may just be around the corner.
He has shown at youth level he can be a serious goal threat and threatened defences at senior level in patches, but it’s now about replicating that form consistently.
