Some Glasgow Rangers fans were raving about the latest performance of defender Connor Goldson.

Connor Goldson helped Rangers complete a narrow win against NK Osijek on Thursday night, and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter went mad about the quality of his performance.
The Gers earned a 1-0 lead against Croatian side Osijek in their Europa League qualifying second round, which means they are in a healthy position ahead of the second leg at Ibrox next week.
Centre-forward Alfredo Morelos headed in the vital away goal for the Scottish giants and that would have given his confidence a massive lift.
Manager Steven Gerrard remains unbeaten in his three competitive games to date and his side are yet to conceded a goal in the European matches.
The Light Blues are beginning to look a lot more solid at the back compared to last year and their new-look defence is certainly helping.
Goldson has been at the heart of their success as a commanding centre-back, while Nikola Katic, Jon Flanagan and goalkeeper Allan McGregor have also arrived this summer to improve them defensively.

The 25-year-old moved to Ibrox after departing Brighton and the colossus is already becoming a fan favourite with his no-nonsense defending.
Here is some of the Rangers fan reaction to Goldson’s latest European display:
