Tottenham Hotspur have revealed that Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko will both be sidelined for the trip to Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.

Spurs confirmed that goalkeeper and captain Lloris has a thigh problem that means he is unavailable, which means manager Mauricio Pochettino will be forced into a change in goal.

The 31-year-old Frenchman is an influential player in the side, but the responsibility will now fall to either Michel Vorm or Paulo Gazzaniga.

Sissoko, 29, is also going to be missing at the weekend for the match at Vicarage Road due to a hamstring issue.

Tottenham also explained that the fitness of attacker Erik Lamela is still up in the air and he will be assessed ahead of the match.

The 26-year-old winger pulled out of the squad for the win over Manchester United due to his injury and it is unclear on the severity of it.

Tottenham are just one of four teams in the Premier League so far that have won their three opening games, but upcoming opponents Watford are also on that list.

It is set to be a huge London clash between teams full of confidence, but losing your number one goalkeeper is far from ideal in the build up.
