Xherdan Shaqiri featured in Liverpool’s final pre-season game against Torino on Tuesday night, and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were blown away by his display.

The Reds beat the Italian opposition 3-1 at Anfield in a friendly, as manager Jurgen Klopp gave 22 different players a run out at some point.

Liverpool begin their Premier League season at home to West Ham United on Sunday and Klopp may have a selection headache on his hands.

Shaqiri is one player that has impressed in pre-season and he got a second-half chance to showcase his talent against Torino.

The 26-year-old assisted a late Daniel Sturridge goal with a delicate chip over the defence, and he has certainly hit the ground running since his summer arrival from Stoke City.

Shaqiri is a left-footed winger that has proved he can make a real difference in the Premier League and he can also drift in to more central positions to influence play.
