Some Liverpool fans were blown away by the latest performance of midfielder Naby Keita.
Summer signing Naby Keita got another 45 minutes under his belt in pre-season on Thursday night – and some Liverpool fans on Twitter went wild about the quality of his performance.
The 23-year-old featured in the second-half, as Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers 2-0 courtesy of goals from Lazar Markovic and Daniel Sturridge.
Keita is one of several high-profile arrivals at the Reds this summer despite the fact his deal was originally agreed with RB Leipzig a year before.
The central midfielder has already caught the eye in pre-season and will now travel with the rest of the squad to the United States to face sterner opposition in the shape of Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Manchester United.
He is a goalscoring midfielder that was directly involved in 16 goals for Leipzig last season and will now be playing in Klopp’s free-flowing side.
Some Liverpool fans have quickly taken the new midfield signing to their hearts and are expecting huge things from him in the upcoming campaign.
He proved himself to be a real force in the Bundesliga and will be looking to replicate that form in English football.
