Ronaldo Vieira posted a goodbye message to Leeds United fans after he joined Sampdoria.

Ronaldo Vieira officially departed Elland Road this summer in a deal that could be worth a reported £6.2million [via Sky Sports].
The 20-year-old has left the Whites to join Italian top-flight club Sampdoria, who finished 10th in Serie A last season and are an established side.
Vieira broke into the Leeds first-team as a teenager and is a highly-rated talent, but he did not feature in the plans of new manager Marcelo Bielsa for the upcoming season and that has seen him ultimately offloaded.
There is stiff competition in the centre of the park within the Leeds squad and it looks like Lewis Baker or Adam Forshaw are in pole position for starting berths.
Vieira has posted an emotional farewell on Twitter after leaving the Yorkshire club, describing Leeds supporters as the “best fans in the world”.

Vieira will now be looking to prove himself elsewhere and he has made a reputation for his no-nonsense approach, while he clearly has some technical ability, too.
The young central midfielder leaves the Championship club after making 71 appearances in all competitions and could be the latest player from the Leeds academy to go on to big things.
