Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League outfit West Ham, but the club should keep him at the club at all costs.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the Hammers have made contact to enquire about the 22-year-old.
However, there is no doubt that the Frenchman has improved massively already since he joined in 2017 from Manchester City and allowing his exit this summer would be a colossal mistake.
He helped the Bhoys win a domestic treble last season and was a crucial component in the centre of the park.
The central midfielder was directly involved in 15 goals last season across all competitions and his impact in the final third certainly gets overlooked at times.
Ntcham has shown his quality this season too in the Champions League qualifiers and appears to be going from strength to strength.
Celtic need to be keeping their star players if they are to have a real crack at the Champions League and the no-nonsense midfielder is vital to them trying to reach the group stages and beyond.
Ntcham can offer a defensive screen against better opponents, while he is also comfortable in possession and looks solid alongside captain Scott Brown.
He is only going to improve further under Rodgers and it makes little sense to sell him this summer, with his price tag surely set to rise if he has another solid year in Scottish football.
