Newcastle United fans should be thrilled if they land reported target Ivan Cavaleiro.

Newcastle United have reportedly joined the hunt for Wolves attacker Ivan Cavaleiro, and capturing him would be a brilliant move so late in the transfer window.
The English summer window closes on Thursday at 5:00pm, while Football League clubs can still make loan deals up until the end of August.
According to TEAMtalk, Newcastle are now interested in Wolves’ speed machine and Fulham are also in the hunt for him.
The report claims that the 24-year-old rejected Huddersfield earlier this summer, but the Magpies may now come in with a cash bid that could tempt Wolves as they look to make more signings themselves.
Newcastle supporters have been fairly disappointed with their business so far ahead of the new season, but Cavaleiro would help paper over some cracks.
The Portuguese winger has blistering pace and played a key role in helping Wolves win promotion from the Championship last season.

Cavaleiro made 46 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and supplying 13 assists in return.
The wide man has the talent to rip it up at St James’ Park if given the chance and would definitely improve the options within Rafael Benitez’s current squad.
He would be competing alongside Kenedy, Christian Atsu, Matt Ritchie and Jacob Murphy for a spot in Newcastle’s starting XI on the flanks.
