West Brom have reportedly begun talks with League Two club Yeovil Town about their defender.

According to Sky Sports, the Baggies have entered discussions with Yeovil for their 22-year-old, as they prepare for life in the Championship.

The report adds that Championship duo Swansea City and Hull City both made enquires for the full-back in June, while he has just one year remaining on his contract with Yeovil.

James is a highly-rated defender that can slot in at either left-back or right-back, and is currently playing in the fourth-tier of English football. He was previously on the books at Cardiff City and even made one Premier League appearance for them, but moved away from the Welsh club and is enjoying regular football in the lower leagues.
