West Bromwich Albion may reportedly sign attacker Harvey Barnes on loan this summer from Premier League side Leicester City.

According to the Leicester Mercury in their transfer blog (12:34pm, 23 July), the 20-year-old could join the Baggies on a temporary basis.

The England Under-20 international did not feature for the Foxes at the weekend in a pre-season match and a switch to The Hawthorns is now being mooted.

West Brom are preparing for life in the Championship after suffering relegation last season and the Leicester youngster is now being mentioned as a target.

Barnes spent some time in the Championship last season on loan at Barnsley, where he caught the eye and was a standout player.
