Tottenham Hotspur pair Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli are reportedly set to give the club a huge boost ahead of next season, after committing their futures in principle.

The key first-teamers have both provisionally agreed new contracts at Spurs and this was done before they departed for the World Cup, according to Football.London.

It is understood the formalities will be wrapped up when the duo return from international duty, but they look set to join manager Mauricio Pochettino and talisman Harry Kane in signing new deals.

Meanwhile, senior players Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Heung-Min Son, Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier are all allegedly in line for new deals, as Spurs look to keep the core of their squad together ahead of their move to a new ground.
