Salomon Rondon has been linked with a move away from West Brom following their relegation from the Premier League, with Newcastle United reportedly keen.

Newcastle United’s move for West Brom centre-forward Salomon Rondon has reportedly stalled.
According to Sky Sports, the two teams are struggling to reach an agreement over a deal for the 28-year-old and a move has stalled.
The report adds that a proposed loan move for Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle to West Brom is also looks unlikely, as the Championship team aren’t willing to pay his wages.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle were set to finalise a season loan for Rondon on Monday.
However, it now seems like the Magpies have hit a stumbling block in trying to sign the powerhouse attacker, as they look to bring in a new striker.

Rafael Benitez’s side were short of quality options in the final third last season and it is a clear weak area going into the new season.
Rondon is an experienced striker that has proven himself in the Premier League and netted 10 times in all competitions last season for West Brom, but a move to St Jamses’ Park is now in doubt.
He has been in pre-season with the Baggies, who are preparing for life in the Championship following their relegation.
