Liverpool have reportedly agreed a fee with Roma to sign goalkeeper Alisson.

Liverpool have reportedly taken a major step forward in their pursuit of Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
The Merseyside club have been heavily linked with the Brazil international and it now seems like a switch to Anfield is a step closer.
Liverpool have agreed a £66.8million fee with Roma to sign the shot-stopper after seeing their £62million offer turned down on Tuesday, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 25-year-old is in line to become the most expensive goalkeeper of all time and it is understood that Jurgen Klopp’s side now have permission to talk to the player after a fee was agreed between the two clubs.
Alisson enjoyed a brilliant season with Italian giants Roma last season, keeping an incredible 22 clean sheets in 49 appearances across all competitions.

Liverpool’s goalkeeper position has been well documented as a problem area for a long time, with both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet receiving huge criticism in recent years.
Alisson looks primed to be the next number one at Anfield if personal terms can be reached and he is recognised as a much safer pair of hands.
He has proven he is an excellent shot-stopper, while he is also comfortable with the ball at his feet and the 6t 3in colossus looks cut out for the Premier League.
