Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson is reportedly close to agreeing a loan switch to Championship side Derby County.

The 21-year-old is close to finalising a move to the Rams and a deal is set to go through in the next 48 hours, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Wilson looks likely to be a Derby player by Thursday and is being shipped out again by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to continue his development elsewhere.

The right-winger spent the second half of last campaign on loan at Hull City, where he scored seven goals and supplied four assists in just 14 appearances.

He is a highly-rated talent at Anfield that is being tipped for big things, but the competition for places in attack is fierce in the first team.

Wilson will be linking up with Frank Lampard if he joins Derby, as he prepares for his first season in management.

The Wales international has already proven he can make a big impact in the Championship and could play a part in a promotion bid next season.

The Liverpool Echo report that Derby have beaten off competition from the likes of Swansea City, Norwich City, Stoke City and Celtic for Wilson’s signature.
