Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly admirers of Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
According to a report from the Evening Standard, they are keen on the 24-year-old and could be on the search for a new shot-stopper, as they are resigned to losing Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid this summer.
However, the report details that Chelsea realise they would find it “very difficult” to land the Toffees number one just a year after his £30million move to Goodison Park from Sunderland.
It is understood they have a three-man shortlist of AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel and Arsenal’s Petr Cech in their search for a new goalkeeper.
Pickford saw his reputation increase massively after a brilliant World Cup with fourth-placed England this summer.

The left-footed ace showed that he is brilliant with the ball at his feet and played out from the back for Gareth Southgate’s side, while he made some eye-catching saves too.
Pickford is now set to be the number one at Everton under new manager Marco Silva and his price tag will only continue rising if he impresses in the Premier League.
