Celtic have reportedly made a move to try to sign Stoke City player Moritz Bauer.

Celtic have reportedly made a last-ditch enquiry to try to sign Stoke City defender Moritz Bauer, as Friday’s deadline draws closer.
According to the Scottish Daily Mail, Brendan Rodgers’ side are in the market for a right-back and have turned their attention to English Championship side Stoke.
The report states that Rodgers has made contact with the Potters about Bauer, while he is also chasing a new centre-back and midfielder.
Bauer is a right-back who was relegated from the Premier League with Stoke last season, but he made a positive impact on the side following his move to England in January.
The Austria international is a right-sided flyer with electric pace who can be deployed further forward as a winger due to his attacking qualities.
He has not made the best start to the season in the Championship with Stoke and is currently out of the starting XI, but the 26-year-old has bags of potential.

It is unclear whether Celtic have any chance of landing the player, who only signed a new long-term deal with Stoke in July that ties him at the club until 2023.
However, Rodgers appears keen to make some late signings in the summer window and wants to bolster his defence while he can.
