Nottingham Forest have received a £5million offer from Blackburn Roves for Ben Brereton.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly received a bid late in the summer transfer window for attacker Ben Brereton from Blackburn Roves.
According to Sky Sports on their live transfer blog (4:19pm), Championship side Blackburn have launched a £5million offer to try land the highly-rated teenager and will now wait for a response.
The 19-year-old centre-forward is regarded as a huge upcoming talent at the City Ground and was an important member last season in the first team.
He made 39 appearances across all competitions for the Reds, scoring six goals and supplying three assists in return.
Brereton is an England Under-19 international that has come through the Forest youth teams, but it appears that Blackburn are looking to prize him away in a last-ditch raid.

Forest manager Aitor Karanka is hoping to guide the East Midlands club back to the top flight this season and has bought a wealth of talent during the summer, meaning the teenage forward has a task on his hands to force his way into the starting XI.
One man that is standing firmly in Brereton’s way is new signing Lewis Grabban, who is expected to play a key role in attack this season for the Reds.
