Blackburn Roves have reportedly made an enquiry for Burton Albion defender Kyle McFadzean.

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly made contact with Burton Albion over their defender Kyle McFadzean.
The defender is entering the final year of his contact with Burton, who were relegated from the Championship last season after finishing two points off the pace, and as it stands is preparing for life in League One.
He was a permanent feature in their starting XI last season and one of the more consistent performers, while he also captained the side on several occasions.
McFadzean has payed 112 times in the Championship during his career and that sort of experience could tick a lot of boxes for Blackburn, as they prepare for life back in England’s second-tier next season.

Blackburn impressed in League One by amounting 96 points on their way to promotion as runners-up in the last campaign and will surely have the end goal to end up back in the Premier League eventually.
It remains to be seen what Burton’s stance on McFadzean will be, but he could help bolster options in defence if he becomes available and be a useful addition to the squad.
