Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore is reportedly having a Wolves medical on Monday.
Wolves are reportedly closing in on a club-record deal for Middlesbrough attacker Adama Traore.
According to Sky Sports, the 22-year-old is set to undergo a medical on Monday ahead of a switch to Molineux.
The report claims the two teams have agreed a deal and Nuno Espirto Santo’s side are likely to end up paying more than the Spaniard’s £18million release clause.
It is understood that Wolves could fork out £10million up front, while further instalments could see the fee rise to £20million in future depending on appearances.
Wolves are currently preparing for life back in the Premier League after winning the Championship title last season, and they have made some top signings already in the shape of Joao Moutinho and Ruo Patricio.
Traore is a speed machine who will add real pace and power to Wolves in wide areas, something he has shown regularly for Championship outfit Boro during his time at the Riverside.
The right winger enjoyed a decent campaign in 2017/18, scoring five goals and supplying 12 assists in all competitions.
He does have Premier League experience under his belt from spells with Boro and Aston Villa, while he was also previously on the books at Spanish heavyweights Barcelona as a rising star.
