Leeds United have completed the signing of Jack Harrison on loan – and some of the Manchester City fans on Twitter believe he can still have a bright future and are pleased that his temporary exit will provide him with the opportunity to further develop.

The 21-year-old has departed the Premier League champions to join Leeds United on a season-long loan, where he will work under manager Marcelo Bielsa.

Harrison is a skilful right-winger that has previously shown his quality during his time in the MLS with New York City FC, scoring 14 goals and supplying 10 assists in 61 appearances.

However, he has not quite had the same impact in English football yet, and had a disappointing short-term loan with Middlesborough last season

The English wide man is yet to make a first-team appearance for Manchester City, but did feature for the club in pre-season and proved he is technically gifted.

Harrison becomes the latest player to move to Elland Road, as Leeds look to have a real crack trying to get back in the top flight.

A selection of Manchester City fans on social media clearly feel the winger can still carve out a successful senior career at the club, and have given a thumbs up to his loan.
