Some Newcastle United fans have responded to reported interest in Lyon’s Myziane Maolida.

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Lyon striker Myziane Maolida – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded by stating the club are unlikely to sign him for financial reasons.
Rafael Benitez’s side have opened talks with Lyon for the £7.1million-rated teenager and will face competition from Real Betis and Sevilla to secure him, according to L’Equipe.
Maolida is a rising star at French giants Lyon, but reportedly wants more first-team action next year.
The 19-year-old featured 22 times in all competitions last season and scored three goals in return.
He is a regular for France at youth level and the pacy speed machine could now be offered the chance to move to the Premier League.
However, a selection of Newcastle supporters on social media are convinced they won’t sign the Lyon ace and have grown frustrated over the club’s transfer activity.

There are many fans that have an ongoing issue with owner Mike Ashley over the club’s transfer activity and feels they are not showing enough intent in their business.
They did manage to confirm a deal for striker Yoshinori Muto on Thursday and have also added Fabian Schar, Martin Dubravka, Ki Sung-Yueng and Kenedy (loan) to the ranks.
However, Newcastle fans are still not convinced and here is some of the reaction to the Maolida speculation:
