Martin Keown believes Tottenham Hotspur will benefit in the new season from their ground move.

Martin Keown believes that Tottenham Hotspur’s move into their new stadium should have a positive impact on the team in the new season.
Spurs will move into their new ground for the 2018/19 campaign and kick off at home to Liverpool in mid-September, with their first scheduled home fixture against Fulham taking place at Wembley while stadium redevelopments continue.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will play three of their first four matches on the road before their big unveiling against Liverpool.
Arsenal legend Keown has suggested that Tottenham will get a boost from a new ground after using Wembley as their home for the entire 2017/18 campaign.
“It will be a massive help (the new stadium),” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“They don’t want to be at Wembley for any longer than they need to be. Opening the new ground against Liverpool will be great theatre. The stadium will have a galvanising effect on the club.”

Spurs have managed to consolidate themselves as top-four regulars in the Premier League during recent years, but could face an extremely tough fight to repeat that again.
They are the only team in the English top flight not to make a single singing so far in the transfer window and time is running out for Pochettino, with deadline day just days away.
However, the optimist will point to the fact that Tottenham have managed to keep their top stars such as Harry Kane and Dele Alli at the club.
