Leroy Sane has delivered his verdict on Liverpool ahead of the upcoming season.

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is expecting Liverpool to be a difficult opponent in the upcoming season after an impressive transfer window so far.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have made some quality additions ahead of next season through the shape of Alisson Becker, Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho, while Naby Keita will also link up with the squad at Anfield for the first time.
Sane, who won the PFA Young Player of the Year award last season, will be hoping his team can win back-to-back Premier League titles.
He was asked who the biggest threat will be to City next season in their defence of the league title, tipping both Chelsea and Liverpool as main rivals.
“”I think Chelsea because they have brought a really good coach,” Sane told Sky Sports.
“Also Liverpool too – they bought really good players. They could be really strong next season.”

Liverpool have taken giant strides forward under Jurgen Klopp, but he is yet to win silverware for the Merseyside club.
The Reds reached the Champions League final last season to show improvement in Europe, but will need a drastic change if they are to get close to reigning domestic champions City.
The Reds appear to have addressed the spine of the team and recent arrival Alisson is a high-profile goalkeeper who proved his quality for Roma last season.
