Matt Le Tissier has reacted to Xherdan Shaqiri reportedly being on the verge of joining Liverpool.

Matt Le Tissier isn’t fully convinced by Stoke City’s Xherdan Shaqiri, as he reportedly edges closer to joining Liverpool.
His Stoke side suffered relegation to the Championship last season, but he looks likely to remain in the top flight and link up with the Merseyside club.
Sky Sports pundit Le Tissier has delivered his response to a potential Shaqiri switch to Liverpool and did raise a negative point.
“On his day yes (he would be a good signing) but he couldn’t keep his team up,” Le Tissier wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Shaqiri may not have kept Stoke in the top flight last season, but he was one of their standout players and has proven himself to be a force in the Premier League.
The left-footed wide man possess great strength and long-range shooting, while his low centre of gravity makes him a nightmare for defenders to deal with.
He would help spice up competition in the final third within Jurgen Klopp’s squad and the attacker is fresh off the back of some decent individual performances with Switzerland in the World Cup.
