Kurt Zouma has been impressed by the quality of his Everton teammate Richarlison

Everton defender Kurt Zouma has claimed he’s not surprised by the ability of his teammate Richarlison and hailed his importance to the side.
The Brazilian made a perfect start to life at Goodison Park with three goals in his opening two Premier League games for the Toffees following his switch from Watford.
However, the left-winger came back down to earth after his red card at the weekend for moving his head towards Bournemouth’s Adam Smith in a 2-2 draw.
The 21-year-old looks set to be a key player for Everton this season despite his setback, where he will now serve a three-game suspension.
Zouma has heaped praise on Richarlison and values him as a real asset in the squad.
“We know he’s (Richarlison) an important player for us,” Zouma said in his pre-match press conference ahead of an EFL Cup clash with Rotherham.
“He’s a very good player and quite young. Top quality player so he will bounce back (from the red card) and come back to help us.
“I played against him last year so I know his skills and know what he can bring to the team so I’m not surprised [by his start to the season].”

Richarlison, who has received his first call-up to the senior Brazil squad, will be keen to make it up to Everton fans when he returns from suspension.
The skilful winger is showing he thrives under the management of Marco Silva and that is good news for supporters.
Everton are going to have to cope without him in the next three games, starting with the midweek cup clash at home to Championship outfit Rotherham on Wednesday.
