Some Leicester City fans are raging on Twitter that they have reportedly bid for Stoke City’s Mame Biram Diouf.

Leicester City have reportedly seen their attempt to sign Stoke City centre-forward Mame Biram Diouf fail, and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are fuming they have shown an interest in him in the first place.
According to the Sun, the Foxes have been unsuccessful with a bid for the 30-year-old after it failed to reach Stoke’s £15million valuation.
The report adds that Claude Puel’s side have targeted the Senegal international in the the last three transfer windows and have made an official approach to Stoke following their relegation to the Championship this summer.
Diouf has been with Stoke for the last four years, scoring 24 goals in 133 appearances for the club.
The striker managed six goals during 37 games last season for the Potters and was an unused substitute in the opening game of the Championship season at the weekend.
Diouf is a number nine by trade, but showed in the last campaign that he has the versatility to play in wide areas, too.

A selection of Foxes fans are convinced that Diouf is not the right target for them in the closing days of the transfer window and are struggling to see him making an impact at the King Power Stadium if he ultimately arrives.
Here is some of the Leicester reaction to the speculation about Diouf:
