John Hartson praised Celtic after their win in Champions League qualifying.

John Hartson applauded Celtic on social media after they beat Rosenborg 3-1 in the first leg of their Champions League qualifying second round.
Brendan Rodgers’ side now hold a two-goal lead against the Norwegian champions after the impressive victory at Parkhead, but found themselves behind due to a Birger Meling goal.
The Bhoys responded with goals from Odsonne Edouard (two) and Olivier Ntcham to leave the Scottish heavyweights in a commanding position.
Celtic have now scored three goals in each of their three competitive games this season and look potent in attack; something they proved when they turned on the style against Rosenborg.
“Brilliant from Celtic.. puts us in a positive frame of mind heading into second leg,” Hartson wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Celtic play the return leg with Rosenborg next Monday, before the league campaign kicks off just three days later at home to Livingston.
Rodgers’ team have been the dominant force domestically in recent years, but the real test for them is whether or not they can make serious progress in Europe.
Celtic are yet to get out of a Champions League group stage to the knockout rounds during the Rodgers era and will hope they can go one further this campaign.
