John Hartson has looked ahead on Twitter to Celtic’s Champions League qualifier against AEK Athens.

John Hartson has explained he thinks Celtic will need to deliver an almost perfect performance when they travel to Greek side AEK Athens on Tuesday night for the second leg of their third round Champions League qualifier.
The Bhoys recorded a 1-1 draw at Parkhead in the first leg against AEK Athens, meaning their opponents have the advantage of an away goal heading into the second clash.
Brendan Rodgers’ side went ahead through Callum McGregor last weekend, but Viktor Klonaridis equalised with a vital strike for the Greek club.
The Scottish champions go into their midweek European showdown on the back of a disappointing 1-0 away defeat to Hearts at the weekend.
Ex-Celtic striker Hartson has spoken out on social media about the size of the task that awaits his former side.
“It’s a tough one but we have to go there and put in an almost perfect performance,” Hartson wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Celtic know they will need to score at least once away to AEK Athens and have been given a potential boost, as centre-forward Moussa Dembele has travelled with the squad.
Rodgers will be desperate for his side to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League and knows a lot of his success will be judged on how well he does in Europe.
