Phil Jagielka believes that Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will remain at the club, despite interest from Chelsea.

Everton captain Phil Jagielka believes that goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is likely to stay at Goodison Park amid reported interest in his teammate, but hinted that crazy money could steal him away.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have made Pickford their top target this summer if they lose Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.
However, the Toffees are set to offer the 24-year-old a new improved deal to ensure the future of the shot-stopper, according to the Times.
Jagielka delivered his response to talkSPORT when asked about whether or not Pickford could leave for Chelsea.
“I don’t think so,” Jagielka said.
“There is talk about us giving him a new deal but, let’s be honest, football’s crazy.
“If someone wants to come and offer us £100million or £150million for Jordan then football is football but he’s happy where he is.”

Pickford’s reputation has certainly grown after impressing this summer for England at the World Cup, helping them to a fourth-placed finish.
He is now the nation’s number one option in goal and has proven that he can play out from the back, with an excellent range of passing.
He has only been with the Merseyside club for one year since joining from Sunderland and is now being talked about amongst the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Everton’s defence was certainly a weak point last season and manager Marco Silva will want to address that problem, but goalkeeper Pickford still managed to bail them out of trouble on several occasions.
