Jack Wilshere has posted on his Instagram an image of Lucas Perez in a West Ham United shirt amid reports he is joining from Arsenal.
According to the Evening Standard, the Hammers are set to complete a £5million deal for Perez on deadline day.
Wilshere has jumped the gun by revealing the 29-year-old inside the Hammers dressing room on his Instagram story and it appears like the deal has been wrapped up.
Perez previously played with Wilshere at Arsenal and the duo look set to reunite at the London Stadium for the new season.
The Spanish centre-forward has proven himself to be a strong goal-scorer in La Liga and only got a brief spell in English football with Arsenal.
He is a left-footed ace who has decent pace and looks set to become the latest player to join Manuel Pellegrini’s revolution this summer.
The Hammers have made a number of high-profile additions to their squad this summer and will hope to be competing around the European spots in the Premier League.
