Everton should plot a raid for goalkeeper Joel Pereira to replace Joel Robles.

Everton know they are in safe hands through the shape of Jordan Pickford as their goalkeeper for the foreseeable future, but the departure of Joel Robles this summer has left them needing a new understudy to him.
The Merseyside club allowed Joel to depart Goodison after his contract expired and bringing in a replacement for him would be a smart move.
Manager Marco Silva should be plotting a move to sign Portuguese compatriot Joel Pereira from Manchester United, a switch that seems feasible given latest reports.

The Daily Mail reports (Live transfer blog, 1:45pm, 2 July) that Man United’s third-choice goalkeeper, Pereira, is likely to depart Old Trafford on loan next season.
Everton should be all over a potential swoop for the 6ft 2in colossus and tempt him to Merseyside with the role of being Pickford’s understudy.

Pereira is a highly-rated goalkeeper that has the backing of Man Untied manager Jose Mourinho and allowing him to join a Premier League rival could help massively with his development.
The 22-year-old has only managed three first-team appearances at Old Trafford, but could have a huge future in the game and would be an excellent option behind Pickford.

Everton should at least throw their name into the hat to try land Pereira, especially given it would be on a temporary basis and they could perhaps crank up pressure on Pickford to keep improving.
