Everton should consider Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi after reportedly failing with a bid for Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Everton have reportedly been unsuccessful with their attempt to sign Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Doucoure, 25, enjoyed a decent campaign last season in England but, if the Merseyside club are willing to splash out a near-£30million sum on a midfielder, they can surely find better.
Marco Silva’s side should consider running the rule over Leicester destroyer Wilfred Ndidi and his signature would be far more impressive than landing Doucoure this summer.
The 21-year-old is a powerhouse central midfielder who has the potential to rise right to the top and was a machine for the Foxes last season.
He is certainly built in the same mould as N’Golo Kante, with his strengths lying in tackling and interceptions, which is why a partnership alongside Idrissa Gueye at Goodison Park could be lethal.

Everton need to bring in a few high-profile additions this summer to get them back competing for the European spots and he would be a decent start.
Ndidi was a key player for Nigeria during the World Cup this summer and it could be a smart play from Silva to eye the Leicester man over Doucoure.
