Dean Saunders believes that Liverpool could finally win a Premier League title after their impressive signings.

Dean Saunders believes that Liverpool will be right in the mix for the Premier League title in the upcoming season after an impressive summer of spending.
The Reds continued building their squad on Thursday by signing goalkeeper Alisson Becker from Roma and many now feel they can be a real force.
The Merseyside club will have fresh faces Alisson, Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho and Naby Keita at Anfield for the new campaign.
Ex-Wales and Liverpool striker Saunders feel his former side are well positioned to compete for the league crown after massively improving under manager Jurgen Klopp.
“I actually think now they (Liverpool) have got a chance, they can win the league,” Saunders told talkSPORT.
“They’ve spent £172million more than Newcastle at the minute in the summer so that is the gap closing.
“I think looking at it now he’s (Jurgen Klopp) plugged all the gaps.”

Liverpool have not won the top-flight title in England since the introduction of the Premier League, but look as strong as ever going into a new season.
They reached the Champions League final last season to highlight their progress and have one of the world’s most lethal attacking units in the shape of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
However, they will have to go someway to win the league crown, as reigning champions Manchester City will surely start as favourites after running away with the title last season under Pep Guardiola.
