Jamie Carragher has raved about Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier.

Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier is one of several England players to see his stock rise this summer due to their performances in the World Cup.
The 27-year-old is an attack-minded right-back that has come a long way since he joined Spurs from Burnley and is now one of the leading players for his national side, with some comparing his crossing to David Beckham.
Trippier is now preparing for a World Cup semi-final with England and will hope to continue being the same creative force.
Jamie Carragher has waxed lyrical about the improvement of the Spurs man and added that the competitiveness of the Premier League has helped prepare the England players.
“As much as (Gareth) Southgate is deservedly receiving praise, the clubs must be credited for preparing players to play a more tactically fluid and technical game,” Carragher wrote in the Telegraph.
“Kieran Trippier’s advancement at Spurs has taken him to another level.
“Southgate is willing to defer to the great coaches working with his players on a day-to-day basis.”

Trippier has the opportunity to go down an England legend in the next week and his rise in the past couple of years has been quite sensational.
He managed nine assists in all competitions last season for Spurs to highlight his attacking drive, but also has the work-rate and defensive discipline that makes him a well balanced full-back.
