Bryan Robson has waxed lyrical about Liverpool and England midfielder Jordan Henderson.

Liverpool ace Jordan Henderson has proved a lot of doubters wrong in the past 12 months and ex-Manchester United midfielder Bryan Robson appears to be one of them.
The 28-year-old captained the Reds to a Champions League final last season, proving his quality on an elite stage before losing to Real Madrid.
He is also integral to Gareth Southgate’s England side and is now preparing for a World Cup semi-final against Croatia.
Robson has admitted he was not fully convinced by the quality of Henderson in the past, but feels he has taken his game to another level.
“I had my concerns about Jordan Henderson prior to this World Cup but he was absolutely outstanding against Sweden,” Robson wrote in the Daily Mail.
“Now I really like the way he is playing round the corners. He clips a first-time pass up to forwards, past opposing players, without taking a second touch, plays one-twos, is sensible in his decision-making and doesn’t leave his defenders exposed.”

There is no doubt that Henderson is thriving as the deep-lying playmaker in the England side and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp needs a lot of credit for the vast improvement in his game.
He is now a crucial member for both club and country, with his range of passing and incredible work-rate just some of the strings to his bow.
The Liverpool ace managed to blow Tottenham counterpart Eric Dier out of the water for a starting place in the England side and he is vindicating Southgate’s decision time and again.
