Some Manchester City fans are pleased about their club’s reported interest in Wolves’ Ruben Neves.

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves has reportedly emerged on the radar of Pep Guardiola for January – and some Manchester City fans are delighted about the possibility of signing him.
According to the Sun, the Portuguese deep-lying playmaker is now a £60million target for the reigning Premier League champions. A bid is thought likely in the January transfer window.
The report says that manager Guardiola wants a new central midfielder after missing out on Jorginho following his switch to Chelsea – and Wolves ace Neves is one of his main targets. It is understood that Manchester City had scouts watching the midfield creator on the opening day of the season, where he scored in a 2-2 draw against Everton.
Neves is under contract at the Molineux Stadium until 2023, and Wolves will not be forced to sell their talisman following the recent promotion to the Premier League. The ex-Porto player has become pivotal to the Wolves team, and a lot of their play goes through him in the central midfield area.

A selection of Manchester City fans on social media are convinced the 21-year-old could be a top addition to their squad in January.
