Some Fulham fans on Twitter are fuming with reports that they could turn attention to Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle.

Fulham could reportedly turn their attention to Newcastle United centre-forward Dwight Gayle this summer – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have strongly voiced their opinion that he would be a poor signing.
According to the Mirror, Slavisa Jokanovic’s side could try land Gayle if they miss out on his Newcastle teammate Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The report explains that Fulham have agreed personal terms with Mitrovic about a move, but are struggling to reach an agreement with the Magpies over a transfer.
Mitrovic thrived on loan at Craven Cottage last season, firing 12 goals in 20 appearances to help them win promotion from the Championship via the play-offs at Wembley.
The Whites could now switch focus to Gayle, who managed six goals and four assists in 38 appearances last season for Newcastle.

Gayle is a rapid striker that has proven he is a far more prolific goalscorer in the Championship than at the top flight.
According to the Daily Mail, the Newcastle ace was previously chased by Fulham and they even bid £15million for him last summer.
A selection of Fulham fans are not convinced by the potential arrival of Gayle and feel that Mitrovic is a much better option for them.
