Newcastle United youngster Adam Armstrong faces uncertain an future amid Yannick Toure interest.

Newcastle United attacker Adam Armstrong has been tipped to make a serious first-team breakthrough for a number of years at St James’ Park, but now may be the time for fans to forget that idea.
The 21-year-old has worked his way up from the Magpies youth ranks and spent time out on loan at Coventry, Barnsley, Bolton and Blackburn Rovers.
However, the writing is on the wall for the England Under-21 international and it seems unlikely he will be able to make the jump up to Rafael Benitez’s side in the Premier League.

Newcastle supporters could soon have a new young hero to get behind and they are always keen for rising talents to get a chance at senior level.

The Chronicle reports that Newcastle look set to snap up free agent centre-forward Yannick Toure now that his contract with Swiss outfit Young Boys has ended.
Toure, 17, has previously spent time on trial with the English club last season and could look to fill the boots of Armstrong, as the next upcoming star in the North East.

Toure has been an extremely impressive goalscorer at youth level for Young Boys, netting 31 times in just 39 appearances for them.
A new kid on the block will surely end the hype around Armstrong and the Chronicle have previously reported that Newcastle are willing to listen to offers for him this summer.
It looks like there is no clear path for Armstrong to the Newcastle XI despite his loan spells and he should perhaps consider a permanent switch elsewhere, while moving aside for the next rising star to develop at St James’ Park.
