Arsenal look set to miss out on another transfer target as West Brom smack a £25m price tag on centre-back Jonny Evans, reports The Telegraph.
The Northern Ireland international joined Tony Pulis’ side from Manchester United last summer for £6m and his performances for the West Midlands club have caught the eye of Arsene Wenger as he looks to strengthen at the back.

Valencia’s Shkodran Mustafi has also been heavily liked but the clubs have reached somewhat of a stumbling block over the price, meaning the Gunners are now turning their head to experienced Premier League defenders like Evans.
But it seems that they are encountering another set-back over the price as the Baggies appear to be standing firm on their £25m valuation.

Granit Xhaka remains Arsenal’s only major signing this transfer window as fans continue to grow impatient with another year of relative inactivity in the transfer market.
Whether or not Evans will make a move remains to be seen – though what has sparked plenty of debate is the £25m fee for his services being discussed.
