After making it clear that Oumar Niasse isn’t in his plans, Everton manager Ronald Koeman does not know why the Senegalese international is still at the club, according to a report in The Daily Mail.
Niasse was signed in the January transfer window earlier in the year for £13.5m by former Toffees boss Roberto Martinez but the former Lokomotiv Moscow man has flopped badly, making just a handful of appearances.

So when Koeman took over in the summer, he made it clear that the 26-year-old forward should find a new club with Crystal Palace and a number of other Premier League clubs reportedly interested in his services.
Yet Niasse has chosen to stay at Goodison Park, a decision that has bemused many, not least Koeman, who warned the player that he is not in his plans and will not play for the club under Dutchman’s management.

The striker bagged 19 goals in 42 matches in Russia before moving to the Merseyside club, but now faces the prospect of ‘rotting in the reserves’ before possibly opting for a move in the coming January transfer window next year.
