Ipswich drew 1-1 with rivals Norwich City at Portman Road on Sunday.

Sunday saw the return of the East Anglian derby and it wasn’t without controversy as Ipswich Town had a goal disallowed during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City.
Two minutes into the game and Town had the ball in the net as Jonathan Douglas the ball in following a free-kick only to see his effort ruled out for offside.

It was a tight call but replays showed that the 33-year-old midfielder was actually onside – much to the frustration of the home fans.
And just over 20-minutes later, Norwich capitalised on their good fortune as Cameron Jerome gave them the lead with a well taken finish against the run of play.
Ipswich couldn’t afford to feel sorry for themselves and they soon drew level on the stroke of half-time as Jonas Knudsen fired the ball in to make it 1-1.

A flat second half display followed for both sides as chances were few and far between as the East Anglian derby ended in a draw.
While Norwich fans may be relatively happy with the point, Ipswich fans certainly weren’t – here’s their reaction:
