Several Spurs players picked up injuries during the 1-0 win over Sunderland at White Hart Lane on Sunday including Harry Kane.

Danny Murphy felt Tottenham Hotspur were unlucky to lose potentially four first-team players to injury during the 1-0 win over Sunderland at White Hart Lane, he told BBC’s Match of the Day 2
Moussa Dembele, Eric Dier and Harry Kane were all substituted after picking up injuries during the match with Kane’s looking particularly serious after the striker fell on his ankle.
Kyle Walker and Dele Alli were also seen feeling their hamstrings during the match but the pair chose to remain on the field for the duration of the match.

And Murphy has questioned the cause of Spurs’ problems in regards to their players’ fitness.
“It can be coincidence but three hamstring (injuries) isn’t a good sign on the same day,” he said on Match of the Day 2.
“I know they’ve had a game mid-week and they have all played in all of the games but is it the intensity of the games or the training of the games?
“Hopefully a couple of them are only cramp but it is a worry when you look at three.”

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will be anxiously awaiting the results of Kane’s injury and Murphy speculated that the 2015/16 Premier League Golden Boot winner could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
“The Kane one is a bit different because he’s made a lunge for a tackle and it’s a bit of bad luck going over on the ankle,” the former England international continued.
“It looks like he’s definitely done something.”
Kane’s injury could see Vincent Janssen be given a chance to lead the line and impress following his £17m move from AZ Alkmaar in the summer.
Spurs face Gillingham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening before trips to Middlesbrough in the Premier League and then CSKA Moscow in the Champions League as they look to continue their positive start to the season.
