Some Liverpool fans on social media have been calling for their club to sign Pedri after his remarkable performance in the semi-finals of Euro 2020.
Spain were put out on penalties, but Pedri still managed to capture the imagination of every fan watching.
The 18-year-old genuinely didn’t put a foot wrong in the entire match, he had a 97 per cent pass accuracy and he was key to everything Spain tried to do in the middle of the park.
Watching him it’s so easy to forget that he’s only 18 years old, and as you can imagine, his showing caught the eye of a few fans.
Liverpool supporters, in particular, were blown away by what they were seeing from the teenager, and they came out in their droves on social media to call for him to be signed.
The Reds have been linked with Pedri lately, and while getting a player like this out of Barcelona would usually be an impossible task, La Blaugrana’s financial turmoil means they may consider selling him this summer.
