Gianluigi Buffon is re-signing for Juventus, and will not be joining Leeds.

Leeds United’s over optimistic hopes of signing Gianluigi Buffon can already be ruled out.
The Mail had reported that Leeds had made an offer to the free agent after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.
Now Buffon has reportedly chosen his destination, and it’s not Leeds.
Instead Buffon is returning to former club Juventus, The Sun report.
Buffon, 41, is negotiation with the Serie A champions to return.

He would likely be a back-up for Wojciech Szczesny rather than replacing him.
Buffon is now winding down his career and a return would allow him to retire as a Juventus player, back at the club who he joined back in 2001 for a then club record fee.
A move to Leeds never seemed likely for Buffon, and his swift decision to head back to Italy quickly addresses the uncertainty over his future.
