Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports Premier League (9:06pm, May 12, 2022) that clubs would love to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.

The former Manchester United defender made the comments about Son while watching the Tottenham forward in action against Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

The £22 million South Korea international forward (The Guardian) scored one of the three goals for Tottenham in the North London derby.

Former England international defender Neville was on co-commentary duty for the North London derby on Sky Sports.

Neville said on Sky Sports Premier League (9:06pm, May 12, 2022): “If he became available, any top team in Europe, in the world, would want him straightaway. They wouldn’t even blink. Get him in. He is a dream.”

Important player

In our opinion, Son is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League and has been superb for Tottenham over the years.

The 29-year-old has established himself as an integral player for Spurs and has become an important source of goals for Tottenham.

Son has scored 21 goals in the Premier League this season, just one fewer than Mohamed Salah of Liverpool.

Tottenham’s win against Arsenal has enhanced their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

And, in our view, Son will have to bang in a few more goals in Tottenham’s final two Premier League games to book their place in next season’s Champions League.
