As Arsenal ready themselves to take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, Reuell Walters was spotted in first-team training.

At this point, it is becoming a habit for the teenager to be training in and amongst the senior side, as was the case ahead of the Gunners’ 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.

With Arsenal now set to host Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium, Reuell Walters was involved in pre-match proceedings once again.

Reuell Walters called up to Arsenal training ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

The youngster is considered as one of the biggest emerging talents at the club, known for being an intelligent reader of the game and extremely comfortable on the ball.

To the extent that Football Fan Cast went as far as to claim that the highly-rated starlet is the ‘dream Ben White heir.’

Youth team expert Jeorge Bird reported that Reuell Walters was indeed training with the Arsenal senior side ahead of their upcoming contest against Nottingham Forest.

If that does not indicate how talented Walters is, what will?

HITC View: Reuell Walters could become a starter in a few years

With the likes of William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and Jakub Kiwior on the Gunners’ books, this might seem like an outlandish claim.

However, none of the aforementioned central defenders can be classified as world-class players yet, which gives room for up-and-coming talents such as Walters to contend for a starting spot.

All Reuell Walters must do fundamentally is impress Mikel Arteta in training for Arsenal ahead of games such as against Nottingham Forest.

That is the absolutely bare minimum.

If he does so, who is to question whether Walters could start for Arsenal?

Years back, perhaps Bukayo Saka would not have been primed to become a starter at the club.

Fast forward to the presence and Saka is the face of Arsenal.
