The Everton midfielder has excelled on loan at Nottingham Forest.

Everton already have a large amount of players in their first-team squad but one youngster will be hoping to give manager Sam Allardyce even more of a selection dilemma next season.

Kieran Dowell has been restricted to just three senior appearances for Everton, yet he has been hugely impressive for Nottingham Forest this season, scoring ten times and providing five assists for his temporary side.

Dowell, who is usually deployed as a central midfielder but is also capable of playing out wide or up front, found the net as Forest beat Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, providing another indication of the quality that he possesses.

Part of the England squad that won the U20 World Cup last year, Dowell is a fine talent, although he may have to be rather patient as he waits for his opportunity at Goodison Park.

For now, Dowell will be focused on continuing to make an impact for Forest, who are currently in 14th place in the Championship.

The prospect will hope that next season he will be able to make an impact in the Premier League.
